Discover Kutch with Kutchis
Born and brought up in Mumbai city, we belong to the Kutchi business community which had migrated from Kutch to Mumbai, more than a century ago, for brighter business prospects & a better life. After all these years we decided to quit the stressful life of the over crowded and saturated Mumbai, and reverse -migrated to our mother land Kutch. It has been fourteen years now in Kutch, and we are loving it here.
We have been exploring nooks and corners of rural, rustic and traditional Kutch. Every trip has been interesting and it intrigued our interest about Kutch all the more. We had family & friends visiting Kutch very often and we have enjoyed organising tours for them over the years. Thus came the thought to follow our hearts and start a tour company, a platform which would allow us creative expression, recreation and independence. We want to share our experiences with you and explore together more of Kutch.

Rashmi : Having worked with prominent fashion houses whilst in Mumbai, textiles have always fascinated Rashmi. She has interacted with many craftsmen in the remote interior villages of Kutch and has good knowledge of the various traditional weaving, dyeing, block-printing, batik and embroidery techniques. She has studied the Kutch Tourism programme in 2012-13, at the Kutch University and is a certified Kutch Tourist Guide. Her other interests are cooking, travelling and reading.
Hemang : A Chemical Engineer by qualification, Hemang now works with a Custom Broker company in Kutch. But being passionate about travel he uses his management skills to plan, co-ordinate and assist the tours for Rann Escapes. He also likes music, creative arts, photography, adventure and food.
